Our client is a well-established, award-winning landscaping business with over 50 years’ experience. They are looking for a hands-on Team Leader for a garden maintenance team. You’ll lead a small team, deliver high standards of garden care, and be the face of service excellence for their clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a garden maintenance team, ensuring jobs are delivered to the highest standard.
- Coordinate daily workload, engage with clients, and ensure teams are equipped and scheduled efficiently.
- Monitor the team’s performance, quality of work, and punctuality; maintain high standards of service and client satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain tools, equipment and materials; ensure safe and compliant site operations.
- Provide on-site leadership, support and guidance to the team to motivate and deliver results.
Skills and Knowledge
- Proven experience in garden maintenance, horticulture or landscaping.
- Strong leadership attributes with experience supervising or supporting a team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Good knowledge of plant care, garden machinery and maintenance best practices.
- Able to work outdoors, in varying conditions, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
- Able to drive a large van and operate machinery
- Have or obtain a PA1 / PA6 spraying certificate
- Full UK driving licence.
Salary and Benefits
- £28-32K per annum
- Vehicle provided (to use between yard and client sites)
