Cover Supervisor

Location: A school in Bourne
Salary: £95 – £120 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary

Are you confident managing a classroom and supporting students with their learning? GSL Education Lincolnshire is seeking a proactive and flexible Cover Supervisor to join a vibrant secondary school in Bourne. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain classroom experience or who enjoys working in a dynamic educational setting.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher.

• Ensure students remain on task and maintain a positive learning environment.

• Provide support and guidance where necessary.

• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and in line with school policies.

• Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable.

• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

• Ability to build rapport with students and staff.

• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to pay for one through GSL Education Lincolnshire.
