Responsibilities and duties of the Senior Asset Manager role

Reporting to the Head of Assets, you will:

  • Oversee asset performance, ensuring safety, generation targets, risk control, and financial returns
  • Coordinate with O&M providers to maintain assets and drive performance improvements
  • Manage O&M, PPA, and lease agreements across the portfolio
  • Ensure smooth transition of new assets from project delivery, including walkdowns and punch-list resolution
  • Handle EPC warranty claims and availability/performance guarantees during the defects liability period
  • Prepare and track budgets, working with finance teams to meet portfolio financial goals.
  • Produce clear performance reports for senior management and stakeholders

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Degree in engineering, business, or a related field
  • 5+ years' experience in asset management within the renewable energy sector (rooftop solar experience advantageous)
  • Knowledge of EPC, O&M, PPA, and lease agreements, with proven experience managing such contracts
  • Familiarity with renewable energy regulations and technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with an ability to make data-driven decisions
