Were an established, fast-paced British brasserie on the South Coast looking for a talented Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated chef who thrives in a busy service environment and wants to help lead a kitchen known for fresh, seasonal cooking.
What Youll Do
- Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Lead the brigade in the Head Chefs absence
- Maintain consistently high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Contribute ideas for menu development and daily specials
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards are met
- Train, motivate, and support junior chefs
What Were Looking For
- Strong background in quality, high-volume kitchens (brasserie, rosette, or similar)
- Passion for fresh, seasonal British food
- Confident in managing service in a busy environment
- A calm, organised communicator with a positive lead by example attitude
- Ability to manage stock, ordering, and kitchen administration
