Join a Growing Sales Team Closing High-Value Contracts for a Leading B2B Marketing Specialist
Are you a credible B2B sales pro who thrives on converting warm leads into big-ticket contracts in regulated or compliance-driven sectors?
An ambitious, PE-backed marketing services business is expanding its commercial team and looking for a Business Development Manager to help fuel their next stage of growth. With a strong reputation, unique market positioning, and an impressive client base, they’re scaling fast—and this role is a key part of that journey.
This is a growth hire, not a replacement, and reflects increased demand from risk and compliance-driven clients across the UK, US, and EMEA. If you’ve sold outsourced services and want to focus on consultative deal-making—not cold calling—this is worth a look.
You'll take qualified leads from an internal team and run the full sales cycle—from discovery through to close—with average deal values between £50K–£150K. You’ll be selling high-impact, multi-channel lead generation and marketing services to C-suite decision makers across sectors like financial services, data, compliance, and professional services.
Typical sales cycles range from 3 to 6 months, so you'll need to be comfortable managing a dynamic pipeline and juggling multiple deals. The goal is to close 2–3 new contracts per month and help expand the client base globally.
To succeed, you'll need a strong track record of selling outsourced B2B services, ideally within marketing, lead generation, research or similar sectors. You’ll bring a consultative style, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to build compelling proposals and articulate ROI at senior stakeholder level. Experience using Salesforce and working within structured methodologies like MEDDICC will give you an edge. You’ll be joining a collaborative, professional team and will need to be comfortable working independently and owning your pipeline.
The company offers a four-day working week (Monday–Thursday), with flexible hours, a supportive L&D team, and a strong emphasis on results over micromanagement. Culture-wise, they celebrate success, prioritise work-life balance, and are serious about investing in their people.
You'll need to be within ~2.5 hours of their Dorset HQ for twice-monthly in-office meetings, but otherwise you’ll work flexibly. The package includes a base salary of £50–£60K with realistic OTE of £120K, private healthcare, birthday off, pension, and more.
