We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Clients Property Team. This role involves significant travel, for which a company van and fuel card are provided to ensure you are not out of pocket. This position is ideal for someone with a strong commitment to safety and quality, experienced in residential or housing sector electrical work.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Carry out routine testing of electrical services equipment and repairs in customers' homes as part of our Electrical Team.
  • Work predominantly in the planned maintenance team carrying out Rewires and Heating upgrades.
  • Perform responsive repairs and works within our planned teams in line with work schedules, Institute of Electrical Engineering (IEE) wiring regulations, and standard procedures.
  • Estimate, requisition, and recommend the acquisition of necessary materials and spares.
  • Apply your knowledge and skills to record and report on the status and condition of electrical services equipment via periodic inspection sheets and minor works/installation certificates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • NVQ level 2 qualification in a relevant field, ideally with your 18th Edition (BS7671) and City & Guild 2391 Electrical Test/Inspect certification.
  • Experience within a similar role, preferably within the Residential/Housing sector.
  • Strong health and safety mindset with knowledge of health & safety best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving license.

This full-time role offers 40 hours per week with the opportunity to supplement your salary through call-out and overtime at competitive rates to enhance your earnings.
