Lead Finance in a High-Precision, High-Impact Environment

We're looking for a Finance Operations Manager to take ownership of core finance processes and lead a skilled team in delivering excellence across Purchase & Sales Ledger, reporting, and compliance. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance leader with manufacturing experience to step into a role that blends strategic oversight with hands-on operational impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of 5 across Purchase & Sales Ledger operations
- Own month-end close, journals, management accounts & reconciliations
- Manage fixed assets, intercompany transactions & statutory accounts
- Drive cash flow forecasting, FX management & weekly payment runs
- Ensure VAT compliance (including postponed VAT) & trade regulations
- Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline processes and boost accuracy
- Support audits, maintain balance sheet integrity & improve working capital
- Champion continuous improvement across finance operations

What You Bring
- CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified
- Strong IFRS knowledge & experience in manufacturing or stock-driven environments
- Advanced Excel & ERP system expertise
- Confident leadership with a sharp eye for detail and deadlines
- Knowledge of complex VAT scenarios
