Lead Finance in a High-Precision, High-Impact Environment

We're looking for a Finance Operations Manager to take ownership of core finance processes and lead a skilled team in delivering excellence across Purchase & Sales Ledger, reporting, and compliance. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance leader with manufacturing experience to step into a role that blends strategic oversight with hands-on operational impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of 5 across Purchase & Sales Ledger operations
  • Own month-end close, journals, management accounts & reconciliations
  • Manage fixed assets, intercompany transactions & statutory accounts
  • Drive cash flow forecasting, FX management & weekly payment runs
  • Ensure VAT compliance (including postponed VAT) & trade regulations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline processes and boost accuracy
  • Support audits, maintain balance sheet integrity & improve working capital
  • Champion continuous improvement across finance operations

What You Bring

  • CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified
  • Strong IFRS knowledge & experience in manufacturing or stock-driven environments
  • Advanced Excel & ERP system expertise
  • Confident leadership with a sharp eye for detail and deadlines
  • Knowledge of complex VAT scenarios
