Our client is seeking an Interim Finance Director, to provide strategic financial leadership through a period of transformation and change.
This high-impact role will suit a hands-on senior finance professional with proven experience driving financial improvement and embedding robust controls within complex, fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial strategy and transformation initiatives across the business
- Develop and implement strong financial controls, reporting, and governance frameworks
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Provide financial insight and challenge to senior leadership
- Manage financial risk, compliance, and audit processes
- Partner with key stakeholders to deliver business-wide change and performance improvement
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Significant experience as a Finance Director or senior finance leader in large-scale organisations (Defence & Security sector desirable)
- Proven track record of leading transformation, restructuring, or process improvement
- Strong commercial acumen, communication, and leadership skills
- Advanced ERP and financial systems knowledge
