A Day in the Life of a Band 6 CPN in a Crisis Team:As a vital member of the Bournemouth Crisis Team, you'll provide urgent, short-term support to individuals experiencing acute mental health episodes. You'll work in a fast-moving, multidisciplinary environment where you'll:

  • Conduct rapid mental health assessments in the community or clinical settings

  • Deliver person-centred interventions to prevent hospital admissions

  • Provide crisis management, risk assessments, and care planning

  • Collaborate with families, carers, and MDT professionals

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold service standards

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Valid NMC registration and active PIN

  • Essential: Experience in psychiatric liaison or crisis team settings

  • Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills

  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt quickly to high-risk situations

  • Full UK driver's licence preferred

Contract Details:This full-time contract offers a flexible rota across the full 7-day week. You'll be working 12-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM), with an initial 3-month commitment and potential for extension.
