£13.26 per hour plus uplift after 12 weeks (plus holiday pay)

Monday to Friday

Must be proficient on Word, Excel, Outlook and use of databases
Our Client is currently currently looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Searches Administrator.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our local search processes. The successful candidate will be proficient in the use of ICT, and full training will be provided in the use of our dedicated systems.
Given the critical nature of the information handled, a very high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential for this role.
The role will also involve working closely with colleagues in the Land Charges team to monitor work priorities and resolve queries related to search reports.
1. Job Purpose & Objectives
To provide accurate and timely Planning and Building Control information for inclusion in local searches.
To ensure record systems are accurate and up to date.
To work effectively with other officers in the Business Unit to ensure that all Business Plan and Service targets are met.
To assist with General Administration and scanning of documents.
2. Main Duties & Responsibilities
1. To work as a member of a team providing responses to searches and general administration support to the Planning and Transport Business Unit.
2. To provide accurate and timely Planning and Building Control Information for inclusion in local searches on a daily basis.
3. To update and maintain record systems including the preparation of files for scanning and to provide management information as required.
4. To undertake general administration as required, including scanning of documents and processing income and invoices received by the Unit for banking in an accurate and timely manner.
5. To deal with enquiries from the public and officers relating to local search/general admin work in a polite helpful, welcoming and enthusiastic way.
6. To develop effective working relationships with colleagues to work towards continuous improvement in all aspects of service provision.
7. To operate office technology as required and assist with the computerisation of information held in the Division.
8. To act in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations relating to self and others at all times.
