Warehouse Picker Day Shift

Job Title: Warehouse PickerJob Type: Full Time Temporary - OngoingLocation: Bournemouth, BH11 8PTPay Rate: £13.65 per hour (increasing to £13.71 after successful training)Overtime: £18.41 per hour (Monday to Saturday)Shift timings: 06:00 - 14:00, Tuesday to Saturday (with a paid 20-minute tea break) - Fixed shift* Must be able to reach the site by 6:00 AM *

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar warehouse role is essential.
• Familiarity with operating LLOP, PPT, or similar mechanical handling equipment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure clear and efficient operation.
• Ability to work independently, but also a great team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
• Commitment to working overtime weekly to support targets

Duties:

• Maintaining safety and cleanliness standards across the warehouse
• Accurately picking goods and preparing orders for shipment
• Operating LLOP (Low-Level Order Picker) to gather products efficiently
• Packing orders for ecommerce fulfillment, ensuring each item is correctly handled and packed
• Preparing products for sale, including tagging, labeling, creating gift sets, and preparing customer loads
• Restacking pallets and removing shrink wrap from wrapped pallets to prepare for putaway
• Handling physical tasks, including moving cases weighing up to 13.5 kg and standing for extended periods
• Collaborating effectively with the wider team to ensure a smooth workflow
