Are you looking to step up your IT support career in a growing tech-driven business? We're hiring a L2 Service Desk Agent / Application Support professional to join our fast-paced, innovative fulfilment company as we continue to scale across the UK, Europe, and the US.
About the RoleYou'll be a key part of our internal Application Support team, acting as the first point of contact for users of our bespoke systems. From resolving day-to-day user issues to collaborating with DevOps and development teams, your work will ensure smooth operations across a global logistics and e-commerce platform.
What You'll Do
- Provide 2nd line support to users of our in-house applications
- Investigate, test, and escalate defects to technical teams
- Own and manage the Jira Service Desk ticketing system
- Translate technical issues into clear guidance for end-users
- Collaborate across teams to maintain a strong knowledge base
- Deliver excellent support and drive improvements in how we work
What We're Looking For
- Experience in an application support or service desk environment
- Great customer service and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn
- Experience with Jira, bespoke enterprise systems, or Office 365
- SQL or MySQL knowledge is highly desirable
- Exposure to PHP, cloud systems, or ITIL practices is a plus
