Our client is a rapidly growing global brand in the sports nutrition and performance space. They specialise in fueling and hydration solutions for elite and amateur athletes and are proud to support teams and individuals across the Premier League, NFL, NBA, MLB, and UCI Cycling Tour, as well as top-tier competitors in triathlon, running, cycling, and tennis.

This is more than just a supplement business—our client operates at the intersection of sports science, tech, and e-commerce. Their tools and products are used in over 90 countries, but the company retains a close-knit, collaborative culture. As they continue to scale, they’re now looking to bring in a Product & Quality Manager to drive product innovation, strengthen quality assurance, and oversee packaging and regulatory compliance.

The Role

This is a newly created position, reporting into senior leadership, and will be instrumental in shaping the future of the product range. The successful candidate will take ownership of the entire product lifecycle—from ideation and testing through to launch and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading new product development and enhancements across the range
  • End-to-end project management of product launches
  • Driving supplier relationships and managing third-party testing providers
  • Conducting quality audits, managing non-conformance investigations, and improving QA protocols
  • Overseeing all compliance, including WADA testing, labelling, and regional regulations
  • Managing label claim testing, flavour/consistency trials, and retained sample databases
  • Leading packaging development with a focus on sustainability and retail-readiness

The Candidate

This role would suit someone with a strong background in product development and quality within the food, beverage, or supplement space. They’ll be detail-oriented but commercially savvy, with the confidence to take initiative and thrive in a fast-paced, growing business.

We’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in product and quality management
  • Strong knowledge of food/supplement labelling and compliance requirements
  • Experience managing third-party suppliers and testing labs
  • Excellent project management and multi-tasking skills
  • A problem-solving, data-driven mindset
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust both internally and externally
  • Bonus: exposure to e-commerce environments and a genuine passion for sport and performance

The Offer

  • A chance to join a passionate, high-performance team in a mission-driven brand
  • Hybrid working model, with a vibrant HQ on the South Coast
  • Generous access to product and branded merch
  • Opportunity to have a major impact in a visible, high-ownership role
  • Travel opportunities and exposure to global markets and top-tier athletes
