NET Recruit is supporting a manufacturing business who are seeking a Master Scheduler/Planner to join their team in the Bournemouth area.Your Role:While in this position your duties may include but will not be limited to:
  • Developing the master production schedule (MPS), aligning output with demand forecasts, capacity plans, and strategic goals
  • Conducting resource and capacity planning to optimize utilization, reduce bottlenecks, and improve lead times
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with procurement, supply chain, and operations to ensure schedule feasibility and operational continuity, balancing short-term execution vs long term planning
  • Spearheading the integrated SIOP process, aligning demand planning, inventory management, and production scheduling with business objectives
  • Analysing forecast models to provide clear visibility into demand and supply constraints, enabling informed, data-driven decisions
  • Partnering with procurement and production to ensure timely material availability while maintaining optimal inventory levels
  • Monitoring material flow, inventory, and supplier performance, implementing data-driven planning strategies to reduce shortages, excess stock, and waste
  • Optimising MRP/ERP systems to automate production planning, improve scheduling accuracy, and ensure data integrity across BOMs, routings, and lead times
  • Utilising Excel for reporting, analysis, and strategic decision-making support
  • Tracking KPIs such as OTIF, lead times, and production efficiency to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
  • Implementing data-driven solutions that mitigate risk, enhance agility, and reduce operational costs
You MUST Have:Please apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:
  • Possess a minimum of 7+ years of experience within a FMCG or manufacturing environment
  • Ideally, a degree in either Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • Proven experience in areas such as Master Scheduling, Capacity or Production Planning
  • Expert knowledge in SIOP, alongside inventory management and demand planning
  • Excellent working knowledge of ERP or MRP systems
  • Additional IT skills including Microsoft Office, especially in Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables and data modelling
  • Good problem solving and data analysis skills
