NET Recruit is searching the market for a Land Manager, with experience in roadside retail projects, to join a real estate business, located in the Greater Bournemouth area.  You RoleWhile in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Building strong working relationships with external parties including local authorities, other agents and landowners and other property contacts
  • Contributing to the development of the mixed-use strategy of the business
  • Utilising the in-company appraisal system and other internal processes for the investigation, reporting and purchasing of land
  • Maintaining a strong knowledge of the planning system, supporting the planning teams and external consultants throughout the planning process and ensuring site progress is monitored through implementable consent
  • Taking ownership for the acquisition of land and associated opportunities, ensuring that a strong knowledge of market and competitor activity is kept
  • Handling negotiations and offers for the pursuit of land opportunities, ensuring that company requirements are met
  • Keeping a sound knowledge of technical aspects relating to land acquisition and development and any associated legal agreements
  • Ensuring that understandings surrounding legal issues is kept relevant and up to date
  • Providing offers, handling investigations and negotiating with parties including local authorities, agents and in lawyers during the production of the contracts
  • Overseeing the projects for unconditional/conditional offers until legal completion
You MUST HavePlease apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:
  • Strong experience within roadside retail projects and acquisitions
  • Technical knowledge surrounding land acquisition
  • Excellent commercial acumen
  • Full competent in Microsoft Office and any related IT systems and software
  • Good project management skills
  • Fantastic communication and stakeholder management skills
