Description

The key responsibilities for the Front of House Receptionist is:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors at reception.

  • Manage incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and telephone enquiries.

  • Provide administrative support, including meeting preparation, mailshots, and document handling.

  • Assist with data entry, logging, and reporting using Excel.

  • Type and format documents using standard company templates.

  • Maintain office supplies and manage stock ordering.

  • Support the Investment Managers with diary management and client communications.

  • Coordinate incoming secretary requests via a shared task inbox.

  • Assist with internal tracking tools such as business pipeline and reporting spreadsheets.

Profile

The successful candidate for the Front of House Receptionist is someone with the following:

  • Previous reception and telephone handling experience.

  • Basic to intermediate Excel skills; comfortable inputting and managing data.

  • Accurate typing and ability to use standard templates.

  • Experience in a secretarial or team assistant role preferred.

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

  • Able to work collaboratively within a team and maintain a positive team spirit.

  • Proactive, helpful attitude and strong communication skills.

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt, with training provided as needed
