We are currently working with a leading provider of housing services who are looking to recruit an experienced Housing Support Officer on a temporary basis.
This is a full time 35 hours per week rolling contract with possibility to be taken on as a permanent member of the team.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide advice and support to tenants and residents on tenancy matters, welfare benefits, and re-housing options.

Support tenants with varying needs to help them sustain their tenancies and improve their wellbeing.

Collaborate with internal teams to meet void turnaround targets and manage the lettings process.

Assess housing applicants’ needs and liaise with local authorities and partner agencies.

Manage tenancy terminations and new tenancy agreements including all related paperwork (HB/UC applications, CORE forms, etc.).

Conduct regular estate inspections, ensuring cleaning, maintenance, and communal services meet standards.

Assist with rent arrears recovery and take proactive steps to prevent further debt accumulation.
Requirements:

Experience in housing management or support services.

Strong knowledge of tenancy sustainment and housing legislation.

A valid Enhanced DBS check.

Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
