Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and group support for students with a wide range of needs.
- Assist in delivering tailored learning plans and interventions.
- Support emotional regulation and behaviour management strategies.
- Encourage engagement with the curriculum and promote independence.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and staff.
- Contribute to individual progress reports and participate in review meetings.
- Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in a school, care, or youth work setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A nurturing, resilient, and adaptable attitude.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE, NVQ in Supporting Teaching & Learning) are advantageous but not essential.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
