Our client is looking for a number of drivers mates to join their busy waste removal company- Immediate Start- I have shifts on Friday 16th May
Our client are a large, national, waste removal company with depots up and down the UK. This position would be working around Bournemouth and the UK with a driver. Applicant would be collected from their home and at the end of the day would be dropped back off at this same address.
The role is predominantly working with a driver to make waste collections at domestic premises- this could be collecting a kitchen which as been removed, bedroom furniture or a sofa for example.
There could also be the occasion where there is the need to visit a restaurant who's bins have not been emptied and their waste needs to be loaded into the van to be taken to the depot- these type of collections are less common but would need to be considered by an applicant.
Shifts are booked on a daily basis- our client contacts us daily to let us know how many staff they need for the next day.
Due to the nature of these shifts full time work is not guaranteed each week, however each shift is 10-12 hours meaning that working hours soon add up.
Pay is weekly at £12.21 per hour.
Due to the ad hoc nature of the shifts this role would be ideal for someone who is between jobs, not looking for set full time hours, a university student who gets set days off from their studies etc.
Applicant must have safety boots and ideally Hi Vis but all other PPE will be provided.
No experience necessary but applicant must have a good attitude, be happy with physical work and willing to occasionally 'get their hands dirty'.
