What You Will Do:

As an Agricultural Planner, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the agricultural planning and catching functions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining detailed plans across Breeder, Hatchery, Broiler, and Live Haul disciplines, ensuring they are up to date and aligned with business requirements.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with farming partners and internal stakeholders to communicate plans effectively.
  • Analysing performance trends and using insights to optimise future planning decisions.
  • Monitoring and reporting performance metrics, highlighting any anomalies or significant changes.
  • Supporting the development of agricultural planning systems and managing changes as part of IT projects.
  • Visiting farms to observe compliance, creating reports, and providing support for supply chain improvements.

What You Will Bring:

  • Strong understanding of supply chain and planning processes, with a proactive and analytical mindset.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel, with the ability to analyse and interpret data effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills to manage relationships and plans efficiently.
  • A clean driving licence and willingness to travel to farms for compliance checks and operational support.
  • Previous experience in production planning or scheduling, with project management expertise being a plus.
