About the Role
This is a hands-on and strategic HR role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited by the opportunity to influence and implement lasting change. You’ll lead on a broad range of HR initiatives, working closely with senior leadership to drive performance, engagement, and talent development across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and modernise HR policies, procedures, and workplace practices to ensure efficiency, compliance, and best practice
- Develop and implement apprenticeship schemes and student/work placement programmes
- Support and coach junior HR team members, fostering their professional growth and capability
- Take ownership of succession planning and workforce development to build a strong pipeline of future talent
- Attract and recruit high-calibre candidates through creative and strategic resourcing approaches
- Partner with managers to embed a positive and engaging workplace culture across all sites
- Provide advice and support on employee relations, performance management, and organisational change
- Travel to other UK sites once a week or fortnight to provide onsite HR support and guidance
About You
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (Level 7 advantageous)
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner
- Track record of driving change, modernising practices, and improving operational efficiency
- Confident in managing and mentoring junior team members
- Strong experience with recruitment, talent planning, and succession management
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and a natural relationship builder
- Willing and able to travel to other company sites weekly or fortnightly
