Duties
- Assisting with loading and unloading materials, ensuring safe handling at all times
- Supporting tradespeople and other team members with day-to-day tasks
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Moving supplies, equipment, or products around the site as directed
- Preparing work sites by clearing debris or setting up necessary tools and materials
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times during operations
- Assisting with basic maintenance tasks when required, including minor repairs or inspections
Skills
- Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour throughout the shift
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a manual labour environment
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to different tasks and working conditions
- Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is key
