We are pleased to be working with a global and market leading client, based in Bracknell who are looking to recruit a meticulous and proactive Financial Accountant to join their experienced finance team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

This role offers an opportunity to play a crucial role in ensuring accurate month-end closings, detailed general ledger analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations. You will work closely with the wider finance team and shared service centre to ensure precise and compliant reporting.

What you'll do:

  • Ensure accurate month-end postings and financial analysis.
  • Maintain and review balance sheet positions.
  • Support financial statement reviews across three legal entities.
  • Work closely with local colleagues and SSC to ensure accurate payroll accounting.
  • Provide detailed general ledger analysis for tax and VAT purposes.
  • Deliver timely and relevant financial information to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with financial processes and accounting guidelines.

Key requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA/CA).
  • Strong working knowledge of financial and management accounting.
  • Experience in payroll accounting, GL analysis, Corporation Tax, and VAT would be highly advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of UK & German GAAP.
