Freelance Senior Technical Designer
Contract | 250-350 per day | London
We are partnering with a leading Design & Build contractor who are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Designer to support their growing pipeline of projects. This is a great opportunity for a freelancer who can hit the ground running and bring strong technical expertise to the team.
The Role
- Producing technical drawings and coordinating with M&E and specialist contractors
- Attending site meetings with subcontractors and clients
- Managing surveying, planning applications, and building regulations compliance
- Overseeing multiple live projects at a time (ranging from 3-5m to 20m+)
- Delivering technical solutions across commercial and laboratory projects
What We're Looking For
- 5-10 years' experience in a technical design or architectural role
- Strong Revit and AutoCAD skills (must be confident and independent from day one)
- Proven Design & Build (D&B) experience is essential
- A personable, proactive approach with strong communication skills
The Offer
- Day rate: 250-350 (depending on experience)
- Ongoing contract with potential for temp-to-perm if desired
- Flexible working: 1-2 days per week in the office
