The Role of Key Accounts Manager:

  • £41,000 plus 15% bonus, hybrid car and extensive benefits
  • Area: Surrey, Sussex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Bristol.
  • You will work from home with responsibility for the Southern area as one of a team of 4 Key Account Managers covering the UK.
  • Your customers will include professional sports grounds, golf courses, and school grounds – meeting with the people who make the decisions about the machines that are used to produce the surfaces they need.

This Will Require You To:

  • Relationship building with key professional accounts (golf courses, sports clubs)
  • Understand needs, conduct site surveys and present appropriate product solutions
  • Set up demonstrations and trials.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales
  • Work with appointed dealers to provide training and manage sales processes
  • Communicate internally with all departments
  • Extensive travel within your area with some overnight stays
  • International travel might be required for training purposes
  • You will enjoy the backing of a major product manufacturer and work within a European sales team that is focused on market leadership.

Candidate profile: Key Accounts Manager

We are looking for an experienced field sales professional with experience of or a passion for garden machinery, grounds care, greenkeeping, agriculture, turf maintenance or technology.

The additional qualities we seek are:

  • At least 5 years of field sales experience
  • Self motivated with a proven ability to work remotely
  • Outstanding communication and relationship building skills
  • Numerate, articulate and IT literate
  • Able to present confidently to groups
  • A tenacious and results focused attitude to business
