Our client is one of the largest housing associations in the South of England and they are currently looking for a technically skilled and customer-focused Roofing Contract Manager to lead the delivery of a £1 million programme of replacement roof coverings and associated works across their housing stock.

 

As Roofing Contract Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing both planned and responsive roofing works, ensuring quality, safety, and value for money. You’ll oversee successful contractor delivery, undertake feasibility assessments, validate scopes of work, and produce clear, insightful reports to support decision-making and programme delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the delivery of a £1m roofing replacement programme across residential properties
• Manage contractors and ensure works are delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards
• Produce detailed reports and recommendations for internal stakeholders
• Respond to customer queries and ensure excellent service throughout the works
• Monitor health & safety compliance and quality control across all roofing projects

 

Candidate Requirements
• Strong technical knowledge of roofing structures, materials, and components
• Proven experience managing roofing contracts or similar construction programmes, ideally within a social housing setting
• Excellent report writing and analytical skills
• Awareness of feasibility and validation processes in planned and responsive works
• Outstanding customer service values and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, contractors, and residents
