Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 DOE

Role Overview: Digital Marketing Manager

Our client, a well established leading technology provider is seeking a commercially focused and results-driven Digital Marketing Manager to take full ownership of our client's digital marketing strategy, you will have full autonomy over the entire digital marketing operation within the business including e-commerce, online webshop performance, SEO effectiveness, and broader digital campaign delivery.

This role is critical in driving ecommerce growth, generating qualified leads, and elevating the digital presence of companies within the group and its associated brands.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in digital and strategic marketing and bring a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with a deep understanding of performance marketing, conversion optimisation, and data-driven campaign management.

You will be joining the business at an exciting time and will be involved in the launch to market of a variety of new solutions and offerings to market.

Key Responsibilities:

As a digital marketing manager, you will be responsible for

  • Define, implement, and continually refine the company’s end-to-end digital marketing strategy, aligned with commercial objectives.
  • Take full ownership of webshop performance, including conversion optimisation, product visibility, merchandising, and customer journey improvements
  • Own the company’s SEO strategy and performance to drive sustained organic growth and lead generation.
  • Manage and optimise Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other paid media channels to maximise ROI.
  • Oversee email marketing, CRM segmentation, and automation to support lead nurturing and customer retention.
  • Work closely with internal teams (sales, product, and technical) to align digital efforts with business goals.
  • Monitor and report on performance using tools such as Google Analytics (including GA4), HubSpot, and other key platforms.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, freelancers, and digital partners when required.
  • Lead initiatives for A/B testing, CRO, and user experience improvement across digital platforms.

Requirements:

As a digital marketing manager, you will be able to demonstrate  

  • 5+ years of proven leadership experience in a digital marketing manager or ecommerce-focused digital marketing manager role, ideally within IT hardware, technology, or B2B sectors.
  • Demonstrable experience in owning and optimising webshop performance with a clear focus on revenue growth.
  • Strong working knowledge of SEO best practices, technical SEO, and content-led optimisation strategies.
  • Proficiency in Google Ads, Meta/LinkedIn Campaign Manager, WordPress, and HubSpot.
  • Skilled in using GA4 and other analytics tools to interpret performance and guide decision-making.
  • As a digital marketing manager, you will be comfortable leading strategy while also executing day-to-day campaign tasks when needed.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, target-driven environment.
