We are currently looking for a Category Executive to join our client's dynamic team to contribute to the growth of their diverse product range. Job Title: Category Executive
Location: Bracknell
Salary: 26,000 - 30,000 depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Category Manager in developing and executing category strategies that align with business objectives
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour to provide insights that shape product offerings
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure effective promotional planning, pricing strategies, and product launches
- Utilise retail sales data, consumer insights, and market reports to generate actionable insights and support decision-making
- Assist in maintaining strong retailer relationships to optimise product performance
- Work closely with internal teams such as logistics, finance, and marketing to ensure smooth execution of category plans
Key Requirements:
- Experience in category management or a related FMCG role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into strategic actions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
- A proactive and adaptable mindset with a strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of reporting on consumer behaviour
