1) Introduction

We're working with a major international organisation undergoing a significant finance transformation across Europe. As part of this, we're hiring an experienced European R2R Manager to lead and optimise the Record to Report (R2R) process across the region.

This high-impact role is ideal for a qualified accountant with strong shared service and process improvement experience. You'll be at the heart of transformation and operational delivery—shaping how finance supports business performance across multiple countries.

2) The Role

You’ll own the R2R function across Europe, ensuring effective delivery through a third-party shared service centre. You’ll drive improvements, manage compliance, and lead change in a fast-moving, complex environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the R2R process across European entities, ensuring operational excellence

  • Manage shared service centre performance, KPIs, SLAs, and escalations

  • Act as R2R SME during transformation projects, migrations, and automation

  • Identify and implement process improvements and standardisation

  • Ensure strong controls and SOX compliance across all R2R activities

  • Partner with regional finance, audit, and external providers

3) About You

You’re a finance professional with hands-on R2R experience, confident navigating change and improving operations across global teams.

Your Experience:
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA preferred)

  • Strong R2R knowledge including month-end, intercompany, reconciliations, fixed assets

  • Experience in a shared service or global process role

  • Comfortable working with and managing third-party providers

  • Proficient in SAP; knowledge of Hyperion/BOFC a plus

  • Strong understanding of controls and SOX compliance

  • Excellent stakeholder and communication skills

  • Willingness to travel across Europe occasionally

Nice to Have:
  • Corporate head office or Pan-European experience

  • Exposure to system implementations or process migrations
