Office Manager / Executive Assistant
Location: Bracknell (4 days on-site, Fridays WFH)
Contract: 4-week Temporary Assignment
Start Date: ASAP
We're working exclusively with a cutting-edge technology business based in Bracknell who are looking for an Office Manager / Executive Assistant to join them for an initial 4-week temporary contract. This is a unique opportunity to step into a fast-paced, people-centric business where no two days are the same.
The Role:
This is far more than your standard office management role. You'll be the heartbeat of the Bracknell office-ensuring operations run seamlessly, the culture remains vibrant, and the employee experience is consistently first class. Whether it's managing facilities, coordinating events, or supporting the leadership team, you'll be central to making the office a place people genuinely enjoy being in.
Key Responsibilities:
Office & Facilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the office environment-everything from facilities upkeep and H&S compliance to making sure the coffee machine is never empty.
- Manage relationships with external suppliers and contractors, ensuring services are delivered to a high standard.
- Keep the workplace stocked with everything the team needs-from stationery to snacks.
- Be the first port of call for all office-related queries and feedback.
- Ensure meeting spaces are set up, presentable and functioning for both internal and client-facing events.
People Experience & Culture:
- Own the planning and delivery of internal events-from Friday treats to larger-scale team-building days and seasonal celebrations.
- Play a key role in onboarding new team members-organising welcome kits, introductory meetings, and making sure they feel right at home.
- Celebrate milestones, birthdays, and achievements-keeping team morale high and culture alive.
- Collaborate with regional counterparts to align initiatives and share best practice.
Executive & Admin Support:
- Provide executive-level support to key members of the leadership team, including diary coordination and travel bookings.
- Assist with the preparation of internal meetings-organising agendas, tracking Q&A, and ensuring smooth delivery.
- Support wider teams with general admin, including documentation, supplier coordination, and petty cash management.
What You'll Bring:
- Prior experience in an office management or EA/PA role (ideally within a fast-paced, tech-led environment).
- Impeccable organisation, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
- A people-first attitude with the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- A creative approach to culture and team engagement-you're the one who makes things happen.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to juggle priorities with ease.
Why This Role?
This isn't just about keeping the wheels turning-it's about creating an environment where people thrive. If you're someone who loves variety, takes pride in delivering an exceptional workplace experience, and enjoys bringing positive energy into a team, this could be the perfect fit.
