Payroll Administrator

Location: Bracknell (Office-based)
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

A growing organisation is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a friendly and supportive payroll team based in Bracknell. This role has been created due to ongoing expansion and offers a stable opportunity within a people-focused business.

The Role

Reporting into the Payroll Manager, you will support the delivery of a monthly payroll for approximately 2,500 employees, working as part of a small team and ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing starters, leavers, and payroll changes

  • Updating time & attendance systems and Excel trackers

  • Calculating sickness pay and statutory payments

  • Responding to payroll-related queries

  • Maintaining accurate records for absence and leave

  • Supporting the team during busy periods and providing cover when required

About You

We are looking for someone who is reliable, organised, and able to work confidently in a payroll environment.

Key requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ payroll experience

  • Strong Excel skills and confidence using Microsoft Office

  • Excellent attention to detail and respect for confidentiality

  • Able to manage deadlines and remain calm under pressure

  • Confident communicator with a friendly, professional approach

  • Flexible team player with the ability to use initiative
