We are seeking a values-driven and dynamic SEN Recruitment Consultant to manage a desk of bespoke tutoring packages and develop strong local networks. This is a unique opportunity to combine your experience in education with a people-focused consultancy role that makes a real difference. You’ll be the face of Education Boutique in your area, building relationships, growing opportunities, and ensuring every learner’s support package is impactful, well-matched, and sustainable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate tutoring packages for vulnerable and SEND learners.
- Liaise daily with local authority caseworkers, SENCOs, schools, trusts, and families.
- Match learners with specialist educators, ensuring best-fit placements and strong outcomes.
- Monitor progress, supervise educators, and provide regular reports and updates.
- Represent Education Boutique at local meetings, panels, and multi-agency discussions.
- Drive business development through excellent communication, community presence, and networking.
- Identify new opportunities for growth in the area, contributing to our mission of reaching more learners.
A Day in the Life
No two days are the same in this fast-paced, purpose-driven role. One morning, you might be speaking with a Local Authority about a vulnerable learner needing immediate support, and by the afternoon, you're matching that learner with a skilled SEN tutor from our network, crafting a bespoke
package that could change their life. You’ll attend virtual multi-agency meetings, advocate for the needs of the learners with clarity and compassion and liaise with families to reassure and guide them. You might end your day creatively networking with schools in your area, attending an education event, or planning a local coffee morning to bring tutors together. It’s a varied, rewarding role that blends education, recruitment, relationship-building, and social impact—all in one.
Opportunities to Grow:
At Education Boutique, we’re as passionate about developing our team as we are about supporting our learners. You'll have access to ongoing training in safeguarding, alternative provision and personalised learning, alongside mentorship from senior consultants who’ve led nationally recognised programmes. Whether you're looking to deepen your expertise in SEND, step into leadership, take on an apprenticeship in recruitment, or even branch into strategic projects, as we grow, so do you, with real opportunities to shape your role and make your mark in a company redefining education.
What We’re Looking For:
- A background in teaching, SEN, educational consultancy, or alternative provision.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A genuine passion for improving outcomes for neurodivergent learners and those disengaged from school.
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset with the ability to juggle multiple cases.
- Confidence and motivation to grow Education Boutique’s presence through trusted relationships in your region.
Location: Hybrid (office and set day remote with travel to events and networking opportunities where necessary)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
