A leading UK retailer is embarking on a multi-year transformation programme to revolutionise its fulfilment operations across technology, infrastructure, processes, and people. We're seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead this strategic initiative, delivering significant operational and financial benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of a £50m+ fulfilment transformation programme.
  • Oversee technology upgrades (OMS, picking, routing), network redesign, EV rollout, and process change.
  • Align programme goals with broader strategic and ESG objectives.
  • Manage programme governance, cost control, and benefit tracking.
  • Ensure seamless integration with other major transformation programmes.
  • Build and lead a high-performing, inclusive team across internal and third-party stakeholders.
  • Champion future-ready thinking and partner capability development.
Experience Required

Essential:

  • Proven track record in grocery retail, particularly online and final mile fulfilment.
  • Delivery of complex, multi-year programmes involving tech, business change, and cultural transformation.
  • Executive-level stakeholder engagement and matrix team leadership (150+ people).
  • Budget management of £50m+ and experience in businesses with £5-12bn turnover.
  • Strong resilience and ability to navigate complex environments.

Desirable:

  • Experience with OMS replatforming, quick commerce, and fulfilment network design.
  • Delivery of change across online retail channels including stores and CFCs.
