Laboratory Technician - R&D
Location: Bracknell (Full time on-site)
Pay Rate: 18-20.00 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Laboratory Technician to join the R&D team of my clients industrial manufacturing organisation.
You'll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking group driving innovation in adhesive technologies - supporting Application Engineers, the wider organisation, and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory testing on industrial tapes and adhesives, assessing performance under various conditions.
- Perform tensile, peel, shear, and mechanical testing to industry standards.
- Support and perform equipment calibration and routine maintenance to ensure test accuracy and reliability.
- Contribute to the development and optimisation of work and process parameters.
- Maintain a safe, efficient, and well-documented laboratory environment.
- Record, analyse, and report test data with precision and integrity.
- Collaborate with engineers to support research, development, and product improvement initiatives.
About You:
- Technically qualified in a relevant discipline (e.g., Materials Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field).
- Hands-on, practical, and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality and accuracy and relevant analytical skills
- Experienced or familiar with tensile testing and laboratory calibration procedures.
- Keen interest in automation, robotics, and advanced testing methods.
- Committed to maintaining high standards of safety and data accuracy.
- A proactive team player who's eager to learn, contribute, and grow within an innovative R&D environment.
