Location: Bracknell (Full time on-site)
Pay Rate: 18-20.00 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Laboratory Technician to join the R&D team of my clients industrial manufacturing organisation.

You'll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking group driving innovation in adhesive technologies - supporting Application Engineers, the wider organisation, and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct laboratory testing on industrial tapes and adhesives, assessing performance under various conditions.
  • Perform tensile, peel, shear, and mechanical testing to industry standards.
  • Support and perform equipment calibration and routine maintenance to ensure test accuracy and reliability.
  • Contribute to the development and optimisation of work and process parameters.
  • Maintain a safe, efficient, and well-documented laboratory environment.
  • Record, analyse, and report test data with precision and integrity.
  • Collaborate with engineers to support research, development, and product improvement initiatives.

About You:

  • Technically qualified in a relevant discipline (e.g., Materials Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field).
  • Hands-on, practical, and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality and accuracy and relevant analytical skills
  • Experienced or familiar with tensile testing and laboratory calibration procedures.
  • Keen interest in automation, robotics, and advanced testing methods.
  • Committed to maintaining high standards of safety and data accuracy.
  • A proactive team player who's eager to learn, contribute, and grow within an innovative R&D environment.
