Michael Page are supporting an established and renown retail organisation in Bradford, who are looking to hire a brand new Management Accountant to the business. The market leading company are looking to strengthen there finance team with a part qualified ACCA or CIMA Management Accountant or a 'QBE' Accountant to support with the preparation of the Management Accounts, such as Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Prepayments, Accruals and Fixed Asset. Working individually and supporting the wider finance team, this opportunity is hybrid working, offers study support and is salaried up to 38,000 per annum dependent on experience.
Description
As Management Accountant reporting into the Head of Finance, you will be successfully responsible for the preparation of the Management Accounts with key duties such as balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, accruals and fixed assets.
Other ad hoc duties include quarterly and yearly VAT returns, alongside contributing with Audit for example. You will also be supporting with the wider finance team, helping with everyday day to day tasks and ensuring a smooth process of the finance function.
Profile
- Ideally studying towards ACCA or CIMA qualifications.
- Open to anyone qualified by experience or due to finish AAT qualifications.
- Previous experience of preparing Management Accounts such as balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments and accruals for example.
- Knowledge of ad hoc duties such as VAT returns and contributing with Audit is advantageous.
- Desirable examples of supporting, training or guiding junior members of staff is desirable.
