My client is an Independent Financial Advisory firm, providing both businesses and individuals with sound Financial Planning Services surrounding Mortgages, Protection, Pensions and Retirement Planning.

We urgently seek a Mortgage & Protection Administrator, to join an existing team providing support to the Mortgage Advisers of the business.Key tasks and responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Provide administrative support to the Advisers including preparing reports, scheduling client appointments, updating and liaising to conclude work related tasks
  • Prepare client packs, research, applications and documents required for client meetings
  • Maintain client files in line with company guidelines and standards
  • Submit mortgage and protection applications with various lenders/providers, ensuring all documentation is accurate and submitted on time
  • Ensure all necessary information is on file and liaise with relevant companies/departments to resolve any outstanding queries
  • Assist the business as and when required in various tasks upon request, including meeting and greeting clients, answering and dealing with incoming enquiries
  • Proficient in the use of IT: Microsoft Word/Excel
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks

It would be to your advantage if you have and experience within a similar role within Mortgages & Protection, but this is not specifically needed. We require a candidate with 1-3 years experience working within the Financial Services sector, with a minimum of good GCSE grades in English & Maths, ideally degree qualified within a Financial discipline, and have a desire to develop a career within the Mortgage / Financial Planning industry.
