We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the day-to-day accounting functions of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain company financial records, ledgers, and accounts.
- Process supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations in a timely manner.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, VAT returns, and financial reports.
- Monitor cash flow and support budget control.
- Liaise with auditors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ proven experience with SAGE accounting software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience within the construction industry is highly desirable.
