Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Procurement Business Partner to join Bradford Council's Children and Familites Trust on an initial 3-6 month temporary contract/ This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex procurement projects from market engagement through to contract award.

  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, supporting robust business cases and outcome-focused specifications.

  • Ensure compliance with UK and EU procurement legislation and internal governance standards.

  • Drive social value and sustainability outcomes through procurement.

  • Develop contract management and supplier relationship strategies for key contracts.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design innovative, value-driven procurement approaches.

  • Support the implementation of e-procurement solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Criteria:

  • CIPS Level 5 (or equivalent) or working towards it.

  • Proven experience managing complex procurement, commissioning, or commercial projects.

  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement legislation and frameworks.
