We are looking for aĀ Managing DirectorĀ to strategically lead our organisation and also act as theĀ Responsible IndividualĀ for our 2 Ofsted-registered childrenās homes. This unique dual-role offers the opportunity to shape the culture, standards, and future of a high-quality therapeutic care provision.
About the Role
AsĀ Managing Director, you will:
- Lead the operational and commercial strategy for the business
- Drive growth, performance, and long-term sustainability
- Inspire and develop a high-performing leadership team across multiple homes
- Represent the organisation externally, building relationships with local authorities, regulators, and strategic partners
As theĀ Responsible Individual, you will:
- Be accountable to Ofsted for the quality and compliance of the homes
- Support and supervise Registered Managers to deliver safe, effective, and child-centred care
- Oversee safeguarding, quality assurance, and regulatory readiness
- Lead improvement plans and maintain alignment with the Childrenās Homes (England) Regulations and Quality Standards
What Weāre Looking For:
- A proven senior leader in childrenās residential care
- Must meet the criteria to be registered as a Responsible Individual with Ofsted
- In-depth knowledge of Ofsted frameworks, safeguarding legislation, and sector best practice
- Commercially astute with a track record of delivering growth, operational excellence, and outcomes for children
