Role: Civil Engineering Technician

Due to a healthy forward workload, our client is currently looking to appoint a Civil Engineering Technician to join their Bradford office team. The successful candidate will have a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of projects spanning the retail, logistics, rail, residential, commercial, and renewables sectors.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Assisting a team of engineers and technicians with the production of engineering drawings in AutoCAD & Civils 3D
- Production of Autocad Models of schemes.
- Preparation and checking of simple engineering calculations
- Initial checking of own work and junior staff members
- Contributing to and providing solutions to design problems
- Meeting agreed deadlines
- Liaison with statutory bodies such as Water Companies, Environmental Agency and County Roads Departments etc.
- Ensure that quality and consistency of technical output by the team (drawings, reports etc.) is maintained.
- Liaise in a professional manner colleagues, clients, contractors and other designers and to offer advice and guidance on matters relating to their work.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A qualification as a technician is helpful but Civils 3D skills must be of a high standard
