Our client, a well-established fit-out and refurbishment contractor based in Bradford, West Yorkshire, is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. Operating nationwide across the retail, commercial, residential, education, and hotel sectors, they specialise in delivering bespoke joinery and interior refurbishment projects to a high standard.

This is a full-time, office-based role with regular travel to client sites across the UK. The successful candidate will bring excellent organisational and leadership skills, with a strong background in joinery or interior fit-out, and a proactive approach to project delivery.

Project Manager - Benefits

Project Manager - Role Overview

  • Manage multiple live sites across the UK from pre-start to completion
  • Conduct client and team meetings to ensure project expectations are met
  • Oversee and coordinate subcontractors and internal project teams
  • Ensure timely delivery of construction information and approved drawings for manufacture
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including risk assessments and method statements
  • Interpret architectural and technical drawings, offering practical on-site solutions
  • Maintain detailed project programming using Microsoft Office tools
  • Attend and lead site meetings, reporting on progress and key issues

Project Manager - Requirements

  • Proven experience in fit-out, refurbishment, or bespoke joinery environments
  • SMSTS certification and valid CSCS card
  • Excellent client-facing skills and confident decision-making abilities
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects under pressure
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Able to carry out accurate site surveys for manufacturing purposes
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally
