Looking for a long-term role with a respected contractor in West Yorkshire?

TS Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established Dry Lining Contractor seeking a Project Manager to lead a commercial project with a dry lining package valued at £1.8 million.

What's on Offer:

Competitive basic salary:

  • £50,000 - £60,000
  • Car allowance
  • 28 days annual leave
  • Pension: 3% employer / 5% employee (after 3 months)
  • Option to start on a self-employed basis

Role Overview:

As the No. 1 Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of a £1.8M dry lining package on a commercial project. You'll lead teams on site, ensure quality standards are met, and maintain consistent communication with the Contracts Manager and main contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage direct labour and subcontractors, offering on-site technical support
  • Ensure quality control, manage snagging lists, and track site progress
  • Plan and prepare new work areas, ensuring timely material deliveries
  • Attend site meetings and represent the company professionally
  • Order site materials and support commercial aspects in collaboration with the QS
  • Conduct toolbox talks and uphold site health and safety standards

About the Company:

What We're Looking For:

  • Solid background in dry lining and ceilings
  • Previous experience managing large commercial projects

  • Ideally a former fixer with excellent on-site knowledge
  • Proficient in IT and reporting tools
  • Full UK driving licence
