Veritas Education is working in partnership with a thriving secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a passionate and dedicated Drama Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting in September.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a flair for creativity and a commitment to delivering high-quality drama education. The successful candidate will take on full planning, teaching, and marking responsibilities, supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring drama lessons to a high standard

  • Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum guidelines

  • Encourage student participation and creativity in both practical and theory elements

  • Contribute to the wider school community, including school productions or extracurricular activities

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Previous experience teaching Drama within a UK secondary school

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential

  • Availability to commit to a full-time role from September
