Sonic Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist with experience in horizontal milling or boring to join our client's expert team in Bradford.
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from £14.50 to £17.00 per hour, with overtime available at 1.5x after 39 hours.
Candidates should have relevant experience in machining, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 07:00 to 16:30, and Fridays from 07:00 to 12:00, allowing for long weekends.
This role provides 25 days of holiday plus 8 bank holidays, along with free on-site parking and easy access via public transport.

Reworking and manufacturing components to drawing specs
Performing routine machine maintenance and safety checks
Keeping your work area clean, safe, and organised
Getting stuck into continuous improvement and learning new skills
Upholding high standards of quality, safety, and hygiene

What We're Looking For

Experience with horizontal milling/boring (or similar) - essential
Apprenticeship training? Great-but not a deal-breaker
Sharp eye for detail and quality craftsmanship
Good literacy and numeracy
Team player with a can-do attitude and strong work ethic
Health & Safety conscious with correct PPE use

Working Hours

Mon-Thurs: 07:00-16:30
Friday: 07:00-12:00 (hello, long weekends!)
