Veritas Education is proud to be working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a dedicated Science Technician for a full-time, long-term position. The role is set to begin after May half term or from September, depending on your availability.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for science and experience in a lab-based environment who enjoys supporting the delivery of high-quality education.

?? Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and setting up practical experiments and resources

  • Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring health and safety standards are met

  • Supporting teachers during practical lessons

  • Organising stock and ordering supplies

  • Assisting with general department admin tasks

? Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Science Technician or within a lab-based environment

  • Good knowledge of health & safety procedures in a science setting

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential
