Job Title: Electrical Maintenance EngineerLocation: Bradford Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM / 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM)Elevation are working with a maufacutring buisness based in Bradford to recruit an electrical maintenance engineer on a full time permenant basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repair on a wide range of production machinery and packaging equipment.
  • Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules to reduce downtime and increase reliability.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns, diagnosing issues and implementing sustainable solutions.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Work closely with production teams to identify and resolve engineering-related issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and machinery upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
Requirements:
  • Time-served Electrical Engineer with relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering).
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC systems, sensors, motors, and control panels.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.
  • Proactive and solution-focused with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Flexible approach to shift work and a strong sense of responsibility.
