This is a brand-new role within a recently established FP&A function, offering the chance to make a real impact during a pivotal phase of transformation and growth.

The Role

As a Finance Business Partner, you’ll play a key part in budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis - partnering across the business to deliver actionable insight and drive strategic decision-making.

You’ll work closely with both finance and operational stakeholders, providing commercial support and challenging the status quo to help improve efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
  • Analyse key drivers of profitability and highlight value-add opportunities
  • Produce and present insightful KPI and financial reports
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand processes and enhance decision-making
  • Deliver ad-hoc commercial analysis for operational leaders
  • Identify trends and variances in operational data to support continuous improvement
  • Build relationships with budget holders to understand and explain performance variances
  • Contribute to system and process improvement projects

What We’re Looking For

  • A commercially focused mindset with the ability to turn data into insight
  • Strong financial modelling and Excel skills
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail
  • Experience in a similar finance or analyst role
  • Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent)
  • Previous experience within an SME or growth environment (desirable)

Location & Working Pattern

  • Based in the outskirts of Bradford
  • Hybrid working - 3 days a week in the office
