Customs Coordinator - Requirements
  • Any customs clearance related experience
  • Experience with Cargowise is an advantage
  • Desirable to have experience with customs clearance database
  • Ensure legislative compliance
  • Ensure that the company operates within all agreed operational procedures
  • Prepare correct documentation for all aspects of the transportation of good
  • Follow transport and customs regulations, where relevant, to conform to all statutory requirements
Customs Coordinator - Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate the customs clearance between the customer and internal function
  • Monitor the clearance status of shipments.
  • Provide release notifications to enable cargo to be delivered
  • Liaise with the warehouse to be aware of timescales
  • Manage the discharge process for chamber of commerce
