Our client is a respected and privately-owned Health and Safety consultancy, with nationwide contracts and a busy client portfolio. Due to rapid business growth, they are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Technical Manager, who has excellent technical knowledge. This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone who is working within a consultancy role who would be interested in a role which would be centred around providing client support and technical advice. It is essential that applicants can conduct themselves in a professional manner and are comfortable liaising directly with clients. You will be operating within the office in Yorkshire, so applicants will ideally need to be local to the area. They are offering competitive salaries and packages to the successful applicant.

Ideally, you will be based within a commutable location to: Bradford, Leeds, Harrogate, Knaresborough, Batley, Dewsbury, Halifax, Dewsbury, Otley, Pudsey, Huddersfield, Horbury, Wakefield, Brighouse, Mirfield, Normanton, Castleford, Rothwell, Garforth, Tadcaster, Wetherby, Keighley, Silsden, Barnsley, Sheffield, Concaster, Rotherham, Rochdale, Oldham, Bury, Heywood.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have extensive experience working as a Health and Safety consultant
- It is essential to hold industry-recognised qualifications, such as: NEBOSH general (as a minimum)
- Applicants will need experience of undertaking Fire Risk Assessments, and must hold the relevant qualification to support this
- Can demonstrate an excellent level of technical knowledge
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Excellent written ability
- Competent using IT software, such as the Microsoft Office Suite

The Role:
- You will be supporting a team of Health and Safety / Fire Risk Assessors as well as clients on a daily basis
- Completing quality assurance checks on reports before they are issued to clients
- Contacting clients to discuss report findings and make technical recommendations
- Supporting site staff with any logistical and technical issues
- Working closely with members of management and directors to monitor company performance
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, providing technical support and answering any questions they may have
- Maintaining and building strong working relationships with clients
- Completing regular reports
