Role: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £47k + Overtime

Location: Bradford

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday Double days

Holidays: 21 plus 8 days Bank Holiday

The Company

ATA have partnered with the UK's leading FMCG Manufacturer supplying to some of the biggest names in the retail sector. As the maintenance engineer you will be working on both semi and fully automated kit within their brand-new purpose-built site in Bradford. The site is 3 years old which has had a £30m investment. They currently have 8 production lines and are adding another later this year worth £4m. They are looking for a motivated maintenance engineer to join a team of 7 engineers and add value to their production process.

The Role

As the maintenance engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting planned and preventive maintenance on automated and complex machinery
  • Fault finding on electrical and mechanical components including contactors, invertors, relays, bearings, rollers and some work on Siemens and Allen Bradley
  • Maintain levels of critical spares
  • Control calibration records

Requirements

As the maintenance engineer, our client requires:

  • NVQ level 3 apprenticeship (or equivalent) in engineering
  • Good understanding of fault finding both mechanically and electrically
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
